We are a loving and caring church where the teachings of the Bible and the gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, is the foundation for all our practices and beliefs. We are a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and a pleasant country drive away, located 4 miles southeast of Cleburne, Texas on Highway 171 in Johnson County. We are also 8 miles northeast of Rio Vista, TX and 11 miles west of Grandview, TX. At Friendship Baptist Church, we understand the importance of prayer and fellowship. You will find that prayer is a central part of our worship, teachings, and ministries. We favor a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary music with the occasional instrumental performed by some of our talented church members.
We currently meet every Sunday morning at 9:45am for Sunday School, at 11:00am for Morning Worship, at 5:00pm for Sunday Evening Bible Study and at 6:00pm for Sunday Evening Worship. Additionally, we meet every Wednesday night at 7:00pm for Wednesday Evening Prayer Service. Youth from newborn to high school age also meet in our Family Life Center for age related activities. A staffed nursery is available. Adult singles from 18 and above also meet during the week.
